category will almost always refer to a style of Hip Hop
instrumental. The most common classifications are
West Coast, East Coast, Dirty South and Mid West.
These classifications are based upon geographical
areas in the US. Most instrumentals from each of these
areas have a similar sound and feel, and producers and
composers from these areas tend to create music that
falls into these categories due to regional influence.
